Hi, I’m Mayra—the designer, photographer and creative behind MCat Studio.

After 15 years in corporate design, I set out on my own and built a studio that brings together the two things I do best: design and photography.

Today, I work primarily with restaurants, hospitality businesses and food brands to create thoughtful, cohesive visuals—from branding and marketing campaigns to food, product and restaurant photography.

I think of myself as a brand steward. Whether I’m behind the camera or behind the computer, I’m always looking at the bigger picture—making sure what we create feels like you, supports your goals and represents your business well.

I live for straight edges, clean design, beautiful light and unexpected pops of quirk. Most of all, I love working with people who care deeply about what they do.
